I just tried to put both of those scents on, and I think they both have a common note that managed to punch me right in the back of the sinuses. It’s now stuck back there and something about it reminds me of vomit, so I think not.
I’m not going to say ‘free to good homes’ because they were pretty expensive and I need at least a small refund to fuel my habit, but I will give a slight discount:
- Agnes Nutter (Neil Gaiman: Good Omens)
Gunpowder, charred wood, smoke, and rusty nails.
Original price: $26
Sale price (full bottle): ‘regular’ limited edition $20
- Philologus (Vampires Don’t Sleep Alone)
Ancient books, crackled parchment, faded incense, and candle wax.
Original price: $20
Sale price (full bottle): catalogue $17.50
- I will pay S&H and ship bubble-wrapped in a bubble mailer, perhaps with some other imps that didn’t work out for me as frimps/freebies.
Now, if I can just get my PayPal account to work…
Anyone got a clue as to what note in there could have possibly hit me so hard in the nose I wanted to throw up? It was sharp and the synesthesia I had for it was a flint knife right up my nostril. These two don’t seem to share any common notes, though… it must be an ingredient, and unfortunately it’s sticking back there no matter how much I scrub at my wrists. Sigh… I’ll just slather myself in lavender chamomile lotion with liberal amounts of Embalming Fluid on top.
